Kearney, NE: Happy National Rubber Duck Day!

Today, January 13, 2020, is National Rubber Duck Day. In celebration of this delightful holiday, we here at Brookestone Gardens in Kearney decided to have a Rubber Duck Race and invite the 4 year old pre-school class from Zion Lutheran School.

What could be better than colorful rubber ducks, big pools of water inside the building and 11, four year old children? Why chocolate ice cream sprinkled with M&M’s of course. Ice cream, M&M’s and giggly preschoolers brighten everyone’s day! The kids sang songs for us while they were here and we could tell that they enjoy all that they are learning at pre-school. We were especially excited because one of the residents had her granddaughters here for a visit and they got to enter in the race also. The residents were very impressed with the preschoolers manners as they said goodbye to us all. In addition to the children brightening our day, our hospitality brightened their day as well! I think it was a good start to investing in relationships with 4 year-olds today who may be taking care of us one day.

Quality Reputation-We will be known for promoting relationships of trust, confidence and loyalty through the quality of our services, the honesty of our people and involvement in our community.
