Hooper, NE: Spotlight on Hooper Care Center for Quality Healthcare

The American Health Care Association came to the Hooper Care Center from Washington D.C. to to produce a video to highlight the team’s commitment to Quality

Hooper Care Center is being recognized as part of the 2020 Quality Improvement Recognition program. Out of the state of Nebraska, Hooper Care Center was rated number 1 for a remarkably low use of anti psychotic medications among residents. In addition, by focusing on the functional improvement of residents, the care center achieved a rating above 90%, scoring 10th overall in the state of Nebraska.

The Video will feature Cindy, a resident, and her 2-year journey of improvement after moving to Hooper Care Center.

With smaller long-term care communities closing over the Midwest, the overall 5-star CMS rating places the community above many others for always working to improve the Quality of Care for residents.

The team and residents greatly enjoyed the opportunity to be the only Nebraska long term facility chosen for the feature video. Residents truly felt like movie stars and loved being in the “spotlight”.

The American Health Care Association will show the video during its annual Quality Summit this March in Texas. We look forward to sharing the video our residents shortly after the Summit.

Our sincere thanks to the AHCA video team, Andrea, Cristina and Brian, for spending the time to learn more about what makes Hooper Care Center unique!

Outstanding Facilities-We will develop buildings and grounds that enhance quality life and are recognized as attractive landmarks in their community.
