Hooper, NE: Husker Dreams…

Thanks to Tammy Kreikemeier our Life Enrichment Coordinator for getting dreams to come true for two of our Residents, through Dream Weaver an organization that helps elders accomplish a dream they still have. Two of our Residents, Stanley and Ethel wanted to attend a Nebraska Volleyball game. All though tickets for Husker volleyball games are very hard to come by, the Dream Weavers provided a personal invitation for Stanley and Ethel to watch the husker volleyball girls practice. The Dream Weavers also made sure Stanley & Ethel attended in style with new shirts, sweat shirts, blankets and of course the Corn Head and Fan Finger. After the practice they were treated to dinner with their family at Misty’s in Lincoln. They may not have gotten to watch a Huskers volleyball game, but they got to watch them practice and get an inside tour of the Bob Devaney sports complex and enjoy a nice afternoon & evening with their children. We want to Thank Ashley the Dream coordinator for helping us make our Resident’s dreams come true.
