Norfolk, NE: Heritage of Bel-Air Smashes Blood Donor Goal

One car accident victim can use as many as 100 units of blood. And with summer, the need for blood has reached a critical shortage. Heritage of Bel-Air recently hosted the American Red Cross bloodmobile at its facility to help the cause.

“Hosting a blood drive coincides with Bel-Air’s core mission, vision and values of giving back to the community,” said Administrator Katie Frederick. “We have the ability to help save the life of someone who could be a coworker, loved one or neighbor. It’s just the right thing to do and so simple.”

Team members and several from the community donated blood with many first-time donors. The facility’s goal was to get 18 donors and the blood drive ended with 23 donors.

Stewardship-We will be responsible stewards of our resources to serve our residents, ensure the long-term financial stability of the company, reinvest in our people and facilities, and pursue growth opportunities.
