Remember the days of little kids being very high-strung, full of energy, curious, thirsty & hungry, and so cute you can’t help but smile and laugh? Residents & staff were entertained by such “kids”….meet TUCKER & OLLIE, capuchin monkeys. The proud owner is Trish Backer, with assistance from her brother Tony.

During their visit, we witnessed a little pick-pocketing (looking for keys or cell phone), having an afternoon snack of apple slices and puffy popcorn and drink of water, attempts of writing a letter, tearing up paper, climbing, playing with toys, taking out hair clips and messing up hair, removing a hat, and simply going from here to there (very quickly) !

Everyone was in awe of these little sweethearts and very entertained. Many had never been this close to a monkey before, so it truly was a wonderful visit. The smiles and laughter from staff and residents made for a wonderful afternoon and will be remembered for a long time.

Thank you Trish & Tony for traveling to Iowa Falls for us to meet your “kids”. We loved your visit and look forward to seeing you again.
