Alliance, NE: Baseball Game Proved To Be A Grand Slam Event

Have you ever seen a centenarian hit a grand slam?
Have you ever seen a purple elephant on a baseball diamond lead the 7th inning stretch singing?
When was the last time you saw all the great things a community has to offer on one ball field?
If you were at the Hal Murray Softball complex in Alliance on Wednesday May 15th you would have witnessed this and WAY much more.
We were honored to have Michelle Wallace from home office throw out the first pitch. We were thrilled to involve local softball teams as our own Highland Park Vintage Sluggers crushed the ball from home plate as team members and other volunteers acted as pinch runners. Local celebrity radio DJ Mike Glesinger broadcast the play by play complete with baseball themed music to get the crowd going. The concession stand was busy providing hot dogs, popcorn, cracker jack and soda to round out this incredible event.
Highland Park Care Center can’t stop raving about the incredibly momentous event on full display – you couldn’t knock the smiles off our faces with a crow bar!

Quality Life: We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
