Alliance, NE: ‘Oh To Be Young Again!’

Last Saturday night was our high school’s annual prom and over 70 young people brought the prom to us! Our annual tradition is to invite high school students here in Alliance to come and show off their beautiful attire to our residents. They also get their names entered into a drawing for gas cards and our very own Brian Stephenson took photos of them, all for free! We saw so many glorious and spangly gowns and sharp tuxs and fabulous shoes! We always tell the residents to check out the shoes. This year one of our staff and her date had on matching white Converse sneakers. It was the best!! We are so blessed to have young people in our area that give up their time to come see our residents. This activity brought so many smiles and reminiscing about the residents’ own proms! This is just an example of why we do what we do!

Quality Life: We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
