North Platte, NE: Honoring Our Veterans

Recently a group of Linden Estates veterans and spouses went to our sister facility Linden Court in North Platte for a program honoring veterans. There were many vets from WWII and the Korean War. The Sioux Lookout Chapter-Daughters of the American Revolution hosted the party.
The many veterans were honored individually and by branch of service.
It was a humbling sight to see the DAR ladies, Hudson and Mayor Dwight Livingston personally thank each of the veterans for their service.
A highlight of the program was guest speaker Daniel Hudson. He is the new chief of police in North Platte and a Marine Corp veteran who spoke about his time of service and as a police officer in Los Angeles, CA. for more than 25 years.

Serving: We succeed by focusing our attention and energies on anticipating and exceeding people’s expectations. Our actions are driven by a “Yes, I Can” attitude and the commitment that we are “Family Serving Family.”
