Lincoln, NE: UNL Football Practice

A beautiful Monday morning, only the second practice of the 2019 Spring Season actually in Memorial Stadium. Thanks to the interventions of volunteer Joe Skorupa, Southlake Village Rehabilitation & Care Center resident Jerry was able to attend a practice prior to the Spring Game. Jerry had the opportunity to be on the sidelines – Assistant Athletic Director Matt Davidson stopped by; Ron Brown spent an extended time visiting as he and Jerry reminisced regarding their mutual experiences working for the University in the 1980’s. Players and coaches stopped by – and saved this writer from having to catch an errant practice kickoff! “Don’t worry, I got you covered”!
