LOVE IS IN THE AIR at Heritage Care Center today! Each resident was blessed with a dozen roses thanks to the generous donations of our community and HyVee Floral Department. For some, it was the first time they received a dozen roses. Some residents chose to share with the beautician, a spouse, or an aide. Not only did the roses bring smiles to everyone’s face, but residents also loved being treated to a special lunch. The meal consisted of grilled chicken or steak by staff (thanks to Austin, Denise & Carol), homemade cheesecake by Denise, and piano music was provided by our activity assistant (Merna). In the afternoon, heart shaped cookies were frosted by residents to complete the evening mealtime.

We also want to thank the Hardin County 4-H Council for making our Valentine’s Day sweet by sharing a treat bag as their way of fulfilling their pledge (Pledging our HEARTS to greater loyalty).

A wonderful day was had by all! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY from all of us to you! You have touched our hearts in many ways.

Quality Life: We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
