Alliance, NE: Pool Noodles Work Great in Winter Too

Noodle ball is a close second to bingo for resident’s favorite activity; it also falls in the category of, “That looks easy” until you try for yourself.
The residents of Diamond Valley (our memory support household) put on a smashing display of eye-hand coordination laced with a subtle determination as they swatted, batted and ‘sent that puppy flying’. The mental and physical therapy, cleverly layered in a fun-filled event, acted to strengthen motor skills. Perhaps the most exercised body part was around the mouth as, when the game ended, smiles reached from ear to ear.

Quality Life: We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
