Lander, WY: Who Wants To Go Bowling?

Westward Heights residents started Life Enrichment activities off with a bang or should we say “STRIKE!”

What better is there to do during these cold winter months, then to go bowling! Some residents were very skeptical about it, saying “No, there is no way I am going bowling, I can’t walk,” but little did they know we had something in store for them! Our local bowling alley, Silver Spur Lanes, was very accommodating for us by providing wheelchair and walker accessible ramps for the stairs and a bowling ball ramp for the perfect release for a Strike! The pictures and videos say it all for the excitement we had while getting Strikes, Spares, and of course an unfortunate gutter ball here and there!

Bowling was a hit for the residents as an activity, it was the talk of Westward Heights with the residents, families, and staff – with everyone asking, “When are we going bowling again!?”

Quality Life-We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
