Hooper, NE: Creating Gingerbread

Hooper Care Center Residents and the Logan View Honor Society put their creative skills together to see who could build the best Gingerbread House. Hooper Care Center and Logan View School students have been building the relationships of the young and old. Students came to help decorate for Christmas and decided it would be fun to come back and pair up with our residents to build Gingerbread Houses. The concentration, collaboration was amazing to see. Everyone enjoyed the experience even through the times of roof collapsing. One group decided their house was from North Carolina and the roof collapsed due to the heavy snow on the roof! The students decided having Gingerbread House building on their scholarship applications would be unique and maybe help their application stand out from others.
