Springfield, MO: Creekside Takes Time to Remember our Veterans

Veterans Day is always an important day at Creekside. With over 40 veterans (10 from WWII) living on our campus, it is imperative that we take time to have a special celebration to honor those among us who have served our country. Every year we host a breakfast with music, a speaker, and a time of recognition of those who have served. This year our speaker, Lt. Commander Tomlinson of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, spoke about the history of the Coast Guard and its role during the Second World War. In attendance were veterans from World War II through Vietnam. We are so very thankful for these men and women.
