Norfolk, NE: Soup Luncheon Raises Funds for California Caregivers

When Vetter Health Services put out a challenge for all of its facilities to raise money to support the caregivers affected by the California wildfires, Heritage of Bel-Air went above and beyond.

Administrator Katie Frederick planned a soup luncheon. Team members brought in Crockpots full of soup – from chili to taco, creamy potato and even vegetable noodle with deer meat! Each team member then paid for a bowl or cup of soup and pumpkin bar for dessert with all of the proceeds going to benefit the cause.

Overall, $308.75 was raised to support Paradise Valley caregivers. The California wildfire destroyed three skilled nursing facilities and the majority of team members lost their homes.

Challenged for every employee to give $1 to the cause, Heritage of Bel-Air far exceed their goal!

Serving:  We succeed by focusing our attention and energies on anticipating and exceeding people’s expectations. Our actions are driven by a “Yes, I Can” attitude and the commitment that we are “Family Serving Family.”
