Norfolk, NE: Honoring Our Veterans

Heritage of Bel-Air observed Veterans Day with a special breakfast and program honoring its veterans.

The day started with breakfast of sausage, bacon, potatoes, eggs and cinnamon roll – catered by Hy-Vee. Later that afternoon, a special Veterans Day program included a color guard presentation and Pledge of Allegiance led by American Legion Post 16. Pastor Rodney Rix of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoskins, and Tom Hughes of Battle Creek, were the featured speakers. Music was provided by Trinity Lutheran School students.

Fifteen veterans were introduced and given flag pins by Heritage of Bel-Air. Trinity Lutheran students also handed out gift bags.

The program was open to the public and well attended by residents’ family members and Heritage of Bel-Air team members.

Quality Life:  We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
