Elkhorn, NE: Yes I Can Vote!

Americans across the country are exercising their right to vote today and residents at Brookestone Meadows are no exception. Brookestone Meadows opens their doors to the community as a polling place each year, never knowing what the voter turnout will be. We had a record setting year with over 150 voters coming through our doors for this mid-term election, including many of our own residents.

One of our short-term rehabilitation patients lamented that she was unable to vote due to being in rehab. With a call to her community, arrangements were quickly being made to help her vote. Richard and Heide Anzalone, owners of Sunridge Village, personally picked up her ballot from the Election Commission and delivered it to Brookestone Meadows, allowing the patient to cast her vote.

We love living in a city where our connectedness allows us to serve seniors in such an extraordinary way. A HUGE Thank You to Richard and Heide for their “Yes I Can attitude”!

Quality Care:  We will dedicate ourselves to provide personalized care and services that achieve extraordinary results and exceed the expectations of those we serve.
