Norfolk, NE: Hotdogging for the Walk to End Alzheimers

September 20th marked the annual “Hotdog Drive Thru” at Heritage of Bel-Air. For the past 2 years, Heritage of Bel-Air has held a hotdog drive thru to raise money for the 2018 Northeast Nebraska Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The sack lunch served costs $5 each year. It includes a hot dog, chips, cookie, and a can of pop. This year a gummy hotdog was added to the bag . . . as an added treat.

Heritage seeks donations from local businesses to assist with increasing the money raised. This year’s donors included: Lou’s Thrifty Way, Jimmy Johns, Coca Cola, Pepsi-Cola, Walgreens, and Burger King. Thank you to all the donors.

Life Enrichment Director, Dori Hoffmann, dressed up in the hotdog costume and headed down to the corner of Bel-Air Road and 13th Street, to attract people to the drive thru. The drive thru raised $494.
