Springfield, MO: Community Member Takes us on a Trip to Scotland

Deby and Stephen Duzan are frequent travelers. Last year they went to Peru, and gave a fascinating presentation on their trip. This year, after tracing Deby’s ancestry to Scotland, they decided to go there. They spent two weeks with a tour guide meandering through the Scottish highlands: even meeting with the head of Clan Cameron–Deby’s relatives! Deby shared about this trip twice in September: once at the Lodge, and once at the Clubhouse. She talked about everything from the food, to the price of gas, to the size of the dishwashers: mentioning real life items that are similar, but slightly different. She also brought souvenirs to show and shortbread cookies to share! It was a wonderful time of learning and experiencing Scotland through Deby and Stephen’s eyes. As family serving family, we love it when community members share their experiences and travels. We have so much to learn from one another, and always welcome community members who want to share their knowledge.

Quality Life-We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
