Alliance, NE: Rocking the Unicorn

The Highland Park Care Center life enrichment brigade developed a unique experience when Kyren Conley, Director of the Carnegie Arts Center in Alliance, asked for some creative assistance from our artistic resident family. Kyren needed help making treasures to be used later in the month during an art show at Dobby’s Frontier Town, a local living museum. These painted rocks, each one different from the next due to the personal touch applied by the HPCC artisans, will be used during a scavenger hunt for children at Dobby’s. To add to the creative juices, Kyren brought her new traveling companion, Turnip the Unicorn, who managed to brighten some faces with his sly smile and dazzling colors.

Quality Life-We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
