Seward, NE: Ridgewood’s Got Talent

Ridgewood residents requested a variety show. What a fantastic idea they had! Residents and team members were invited to sign up and share their talents. Ridgewood Choir sang songs, Verneal shared her paintings, even the administrator participated, dressing up in her nurses uniform from the 70’s and then invited resident, John M to dance with her. Team members Clara and Pat dressed up and shared the song “A Few of My Favorite Things – Senior Version.”

“Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the pipes leak,
When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don’t feel so bad.”

It was neat to see all the talent our residents and team members posses and we hope to do this again soon!

We continually pursue opportunities to improve ourselves and the services we provide. We learn from our experiences, build on our successes, and make changes when changes are beneficial. We develop people’s strengths and remain committed to becoming the Best of the Best.
