Elkhorn, NE: Brookestone Meadows Fall Clean Up Day

Have you ever been to Brookestone Meadows? It’s a pretty big place, there’s a lot of ground to cover! By the end of the summer there’s also a lot of “ground cover” that needs to be cleaned up. Today our departments came together to dig, pull and chop our way around our beautiful property for our fall cleanup day.

Maintenance helped keep our energy up by providing Panera and Papa Johns for the team. The weather was beautiful and mother nature delivered some hidden treasures that we would have otherwise missed had we been inside. Our new Administrator, Virginia Leacock, didn’t miss a beat and jumped right in to help!

“Today, I was so touched, proud and thankful for all of the volunteer help pulling weeds. I know that some could not assist but kept things going inside while others got outside. I am so thankful that as a team we see the purpose and good in keeping this home beautiful for our extended family, our residents. A resident said to me at the ice cream social that she was so happy that we were doing that work today and keeping things so beautiful for them. That is what makes it all worth it, the smile and gratitude. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart for all of the special heart moments you create.” Virginia

Outstanding Facilities:   We will develop buildings and grounds that enhance quality life and are recognized as attractive landmarks in their community.
