Omaha, NE: Introducing Brookestone Village’s New Administrator

We are excited to announce that we have a new Administrator at Brookestone Village! John Turner joined the Brookestone Village family, this month. Earlier this spring, John returned to the Vetter Health Services family, as the Administrator at Papillion Manor. John hit the ground running and is working on getting up to speed with staff and residents.

John has joined our team with over thirty-two years of experience in the healthcare industry, twenty-six of which he has served as an Administrator. He is passionate about senior care and advocates for quality care. John is currently the Co-Chair of Nebraska Health Care Association and is Chair for Nebraska Nursing Facility Association. John has previously served as Vice Chair of the Nebraska Health Care Association, and Chair of the Nebraska Health Care Association, Omaha District.

John grew up in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, with short stints in Red Oak, Iowa and Maitland, Florida. He has had the opportunity to spend time in Panama, where his mother is from. John has been married to his wife, Mary, for 32 years. They share two children, Seth and Michaela. Both work in the healthcare industry. John and Mary also have a dog named, Lucky, which John says is the third child in the house.

John enjoys all sports and is a diehard Husker fan. He also loves to play soccer, a sport that he grew up playing. He also stays active by walking, golfing or playing tennis. When the opportunity arises, he also loves to go hiking in the mountains and scuba diving in the ocean.
Excellent Teams-We will select and develop team members who radiate warmth, compassion and respect while skillfully performing their duties.
