Broken Bow, NE: Lemonade Stand for a Cause

On Friday June 9th, the residents of Brookestone View hosted a lemonade stand in the ice cream parlor to raise money for childhood cancer. The goal was to raise $50 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation; a national foundation that raises money to go towards research in cures and treatments for childhood cancer. Throughout the afternoon the residents poured ice cold lemonade and put the money in a mason jar. After the event the residents counted up their donations and were pleased to find out they surpassed their goal and raised $100 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation!
