Geneva, NE: Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Well it might not have been the way they used to make homemade ice cream but our residents sure did enjoy making and eating this cool treat on a hot spring day. Life Enrichment started them off by putting the mixture into pint size freezer bags and setting them into gallon size bags filled with ice and a little salt. It took some diligent shaking before they could eat the fruits of their labor. It was a joy to listen to them as they talked about making ice cream in the old churn freezers and how they used to do this on special occasions with their families. As they ate their ice cream, they all commented on how much better it tasted. “Good things come to those who wait.”

Quality Life:  We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
