Omaha, NE: Celebrating Bronze!

Brookestone Village was recognized as a 2016 recipient of the American Healthcare Association’s Bronze, Commitment to Quality Award. Based on the Baldrige Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence, the Bronze Award is a National award given to facilities that show a commitment to the pursuit of outstanding health care outcomes.

We celebrated receiving this prestigious award during our annual team member Christmas party. Miekka Milliken, Administrator, spoke about the lengthy and very detailed application process, commenting that the answers to the questions asked within the application had to be measurable and concise. She also mentioned how proud she is of the team at Brookestone Village, and their commitment to both the Vetter Health Services Value of “Excellence” and Vision of “Quality Care”; as well as their compassionate care for our residents.

We were thrilled to have Jack Vetter attendance to celebrate with us! Jack also spoke to the team about the level of difficulty of the application process, emphasizing that out of the large number of senior care communities in the United States, very few of them are able to achieve the results necessary to receive this award. He spoke about how proud he was of this team, and their commitment to the residents they serve; making mention of his mother, who was a previous resident of Brookestone Village. Thank you, Jack, for coming to celebrate this with us!

Quality Care:  We will dedicate ourselves to provide personalized care and services that achieve extraordinary results and exceed the expectations of those we serve.
