Omaha, NE: An Idea Was “Born”…

What happens when you tell some “seasoned” ladies that you and your wife are expecting a baby? They’ll feel the need to throw you a baby shower of course! This is exactly what happened when team member, Malachi, told Lynn Paup, Memory Support Coordinator and some of the residents on the Silver Maple household at Brookestone Village that he and his wife Kyra were expecting their first baby. And so, the planning began…

With the help of our resident “house baker”, Faye, mini cupcakes were made for dessert. Together with Flo, the cupcakes were decorated, and served as a treat for all who attended. Virginia wrapped the gifts with love. And “VOILA”! Quicker than you can say “it’s a boy!”, a baby shower was in full swing. The residents took great pleasure in sharing their joy with Malachi and Kyra. And, by the way, they really are expecting a little boy…Tyren. Congratulations!
