Omaha, NE: Water Extravaganza!

At Brookestone Village we decided that the summer of 2016 needed one last “hoorah” before it came to a close…so we hosted a “Water Extravaganza” in the courtyard outside our Silver Maple and Cottonwood households. Children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of residents and team members were invited for a fun filled afternoon of sprinklers, pools, bubbles and water balloons.

Residents from all over the building joined in on the fun as the sounds of children’s laughter resonated throughout the courtyard. The kids weren’t the only ones enjoying the water…one of the residents “ran” through the spraying water from one of the sprinklers because, after all, why should the kids have all the fun?

There were smiles galore as residents watched the children frolic from place to place in the courtyard; playing in sprinklers, splashing in the pool, catching bubbles and throwing water balloons at each other. It was a perfect day including laughter, beautiful sunshine and frozen treats. Who could ask for anything more?

Quality Life:  We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
