Elkhorn, NE: A World Class Experience

Each spring the University of Nebraska Omaha brings a group of International Business Development professionals to our building to learn about our life at Brookestone Meadows. How we care for our elders in our country is very different than what is done in other countries.

The students are all professionals in their home countries who are here in Omaha to improve their English. This year’s group were from Oman, Columbia, Japan, Haiti, South Africa, and Sudan. They represented a variety of industries including Architects, Teachers, a Lawyer and a Salesmen.

Our discussion panel included our Administrator, Social Services, Chaplain, Admissions, and Public Relations. This year we added another element to the discussion, the resident perspective. The student’s faces lit up when our Resident Council President joined the conversation.

The students were impressed with how our interdisciplinary team works together each day to provide Dignity In Life to the people we serve. It is a privilege to have an opportunity to educate those from around the world about what World Class care for our Seniors looks like.

Quality Reputation:  We will be known for promoting relationships of trust, confidence and loyalty through the quality of our services, the honesty of our people and involvement in our community.
