Lincoln, NE: Sumner Place Celebrates 200,000 hours, 1 Year Injury Free!

Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation has been recognized for going 200,000+ hours, over 365 days, injury free! With approximately 140 team members at Sumner Place, this is a very difficult accomplishment. “This did not happen by chance, we do things with intention,” stated Larry Van Hunnik, Administrator at Sumner Place. On March 1st Sumner Place team members enjoyed a delicious steak or chicken dinner prepared by our Home Office. Around 15 Vetter Senior Living Home Office members from all disciplines, including Jack Vetter, CEO, Glenn Van Ekeren, President and Ed Remm, Safety Coordinator joined us in this celebration. Vetter Senior Living has set out World Class Standards that each VSL facility is to achieve and being injury free is one of them. We are very proud of our team at Sumner Place for their commitment to providing quality care for our residents while focusing on safety for all. We are changing the view of Long Term Care. Here’s to making it to 400,000 hours injury free!

Excellent Teams:  We will select and develop team members who radiate warmth, compassion and respect while skillfully performing their duties.
