Hooper, NE: Celebrating the Hooper Way

Hooper Care Center received it’s annual visit from our local Cupid. Mr. James Dam delivers a Valentine balloon to every resident every year. Mr. Dam and his wife also host a church service every Sunday morning here at HCC. The residents love getting their balloon and some will let you know if they think they were forgotten. The residents enjoyed making Valentines for their third grade Grand Friends at Logan View, but due to all the flu we have not been able to see our Grand Friends for the past two months. Tammy and Margie were our little cupids and delivered the Valentines to Logan View and handed them out to the students. (We then gave them each a bath in hand sanitizer!) The FCCLA from Scribner -Snyder High School made and delivered a Valentine for each resident, the smiles on the faces and the talent seen in the poetry was priceless. As staff were getting the Valentines handed out at breakfast they noticed they were not going to have enough so Charge Nurse Mindi, Maintenance director Butch and Dietary manager Don went to work and made more Valentines so each resident had one. The Love of our Hooper Care Center Staff is amazing!

Serving-We succeed by focusing our attention and energies on anticipating and exceeding people’s expectations. Our actions are driven by a “Yes, I Can” attitude and the commitment that we are “Family Serving Family.”
