Donated VHS Van Means More Freedom for Blair Man

The gift of added mobility arrived in the driveway of a Blair, Nebraska man thanks to Mobility for Humanity and a van donated by Vetter Health Services.  

Brad Shanahan was paralyzed from a fall last year and needs a wheelchair to get around. In an interview with the Washington County Pilot-Tribune & Enterprise, Shanahan said the van, a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, will allow him to spend more time with his children, Andrew, Tyler, Shawn and Brianna, and his four grandsons. Todd Vetter, VHS executive assistant, serves on the Mobility for Humanity board and was there to see Brad smile as he was handed the keys.
