Elkhorn, NE: Christmas Carols and Celebrations

Our halls have been filled with much Christmas merriment and joy with many loved ones coming to visit and celebrate, in addition to the wonderful celebrations planned by our Brookestone Meadows family.

One of our blessings has been to have multiple groups come and sing Christmas carols with us. From old favorites like White Christmas and We Wish You a Merry Christmas to songs with a more modern twist like Rock & Roll Christmas. They performed for groups of residents and walked the halls to spread the Christmas cheer “singing loud for all to hear”.

Christmas dinner served 120 family members this year! The menu was a culinary feat including oyster stew, tenderloin of beef and pork loin with an apricot glaze, roasted potatoes, bacon roasted Brussel sprouts and smoked Gouda green bean casserole. Peppermint chocolate mouse or a deconstructed apple crisp were offered to complete the meal. This beautifully decorated tables combined with family, laughter and wonderful food made for an enjoyable Christmas celebration.

Quality Life-We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.

We hope your Christmas has been as blessed as ours had been!
