Seward, NE: Crafting Stars

Today we had UNL Art student, Emma Orwen invite us to participate in a public art project. Emma is taking a sculpture class and is incorporating work from different groups in the community. She thought our residents would be a great group to start with. We used different shades of yellow yarn and wrapped them around cardboard stars and then decorated them with paint and sequence. She will put them all together once the project is finished. We enjoyed being creative together and look forward to seeing the finished product!

Quality Life:   We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
