Elkhorn, NE: Music the Spans Generations

It’s not every day that you have a world-renowned Orchestra Conductor perform for you! Brookestone Meadows was honored to host The Intergeneration Orchestra of Omaha with Conductor Chuck Penington, of Manheim Steamroller, last weekend.

This 50 piece orchestra is composed of musicians that are under the age of 25 or 50 years and over. They are a nonprofit organization which is a project of the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA).

We had an enormous turn out so people spilled out of the community room into the halls and Grand Foyer. The moment New York, New York started echoing through our halls, toes started tapping and did not stop until the last note of Batman Theme was complete. Mr. Penington did not disappoint with his anecdotes of working with musical greats, such as Quincy Jones.

The hour-long performance was truly appreciated by everyone who attended!

Quality Reputation-We will be known for promoting relationships of trust, confidence and loyalty through the quality of our services, the honesty of our people and involvement in our community.
