Lincoln, NE: A Well Deserved Retirement

After 62 years of dedicated service at Sumner Place between Gary Crogg, Maintenance Coordinator and Jim Deckard, Maintenance Assistant, they have both retired. Residents, family members, team members, Joel Wichman, and Jack and Eldora Vetter gathered to celebrate Gary and Jim’s many years of service to Sumner Place. Gary stated that he has truly enjoyed his time here and in the most genuine tone said, “this has really been fun”. Gary has a heart of gold and has always treats every person he comes in contact with as the most important person in his life. This maintenance duo have always had a “Yes I Can” attitude and always have followed through with what they say they are going to do. Gary and Jim, we cannot thank you enough and wish you the best!
