Broken Bow, NE: Using Skype on the iN2L to Connect with Loved Ones

Brookestone View, recently welcomed Kim from our sister facility, Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Care Center . Anuhea Corbin, the Life Enrichment Coordinator at Ridgewood, thought it would be a great idea to connect Kim with a friend from her previous home. On Tuesday, September 12th, after a few minor technical glitches, Kim could see and chat with her dear friend in real time. They used the computer program, Skype, which is set up on our iN2L system to communicate. The iN2L is a great tool for our residents to continue gaining knowledge, connecting with loved ones, and pursuing personal interests.

Quality Life:  We will create a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, dignity and safety, while encouraging personal independence.
