Omaha, NE: The Great American Eclipse Viewing Party at Brookestone Village

The Great American Eclipse was the first with a path of totality crossing the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, in almost 100 years. The last time it happened was in 1918. We turned this rare event into an Eclipse Viewing Party at Brookestone Village. Last week, our Life Enrichment Coordinator, Sarah Bird, went to the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Astronomy Department and got glasses for residents and staff.

In Omaha, the totality of the eclipse was schedule to happen at 1:04 p.m. Just before that time, staff gathered residents and family members and we watched the moon cover the sun.

Excellent Teams-We will select and develop team members who radiate warmth, compassion and respect while skillfully performing their duties.
